Efficiency of synchronous electric motors used for reactive power generation
Abstract. Analysis of electrical energy loss calculation methods has been given and the efficiency of these methods has been estimated in application to industrial enterprises. More precise procedure of loss calculation in enterprises' exterior circuit between the balance belonging boundaries and electrical energy registration points (usually power transformer outputs 6-10 kV) has been worked out. Calculation results for industrial enterprises, their technical and economic assessment have been given. It has been shown that losses' factor correction towards its decreasing gives significant economic effect.
