Import substitution and food security (at the example of fish products)

Abstract. The analysis of indicators of import and consumption of fish products in Russia and its European part has been made. The basic factors determining the level of food security and consumption of fishery products, their impact on changes in the studied parameters have been considered. Some measures aimed at reducing import dependence and increasing the consumption of fish products in the European part of Russia have been proposed.
